Condition is very good in working order. See photos where I cleaned, re-seasoned and tested this beautiful waffle iron myself. It heats right up and I tested my waffles on the ‘Light’ setting. I almost thought about keeping it. It’s a beauty! **Please note that my waffles in photos aren’t that fluffy because we are vegan and I add a banana rather than eggs. I’m sure regular waffles would be fluffier. However, it cooked them perfectly. They are done once the steam comes to a stop. The heat light indicator works and everything. There are NO cracks or chips whatsoever. Just some wear on the silvery trim from regular cleaning.
Porcelier began in 1926. After several reorganizations they settled in South Greensburg , PA. In 1934 Porcelier was the first to produce all ceramic electrical appliances, which continued until 1954. It took 39 hours at 2300 degrees to fire Porcelier Vitrecous China. Complete set can only be found in 4 designs, Serv-All, Barock-Coloniel, Scolloped Wild Flower and Basketweave Wild Flower. So when you come across Porcelier Electric Appliances, they’re between 66-86 years old, and many look like new.
